lets eat laksa and be merry

as usual i can only afford a short post cos hariz is cranky and i hate bein in the middle of writing a long one and then having him wanting a dokong or his extra mom's attention.

just wanna say that so far i've only managed to tick off one item from my to-do list and thats meeting my friends .. tho i'm meeting summore this coming friday. what a lot of fun this long weekend was for me .. from friday til today (tues), the fun has yet to stop. let the pics do the talking ..

• friday - hubs went to the office til friday prayers only then came back and picked us up at tok muda .. i still can't drive cos of my knee .. met the girls at laksa shack and went crazy when each wanted to talk at the same time .. we rarely meet and when we do, we can just pick up where we left off and yak over big bowls of laksa .. especially bout the kids we have. shim has 3 beautiful anak dara, me with my boys and fida with one girl and one babe yet to be born .. shim's girls were left at home with gramps so even with 3 kids, lets just say the shack may never be the same again .. shim and fida are my best friends from school .. fida is a fellow teacher and shim gives good mommy advice .. we hardly see each other cos the former lives in kuantan n the latter in malacca, then i bumped into ijoy who was in town for school hols and then my biggest surprise, my kak hunny bunny. kak hani was my roommate 4 about 4 years at iiu and we had the best years all four of us roomies. they made my life at gombak breathable. we catched up for 20 mins then i had to leave cos it was getting late .. what a wonderful day meeting old but still best friends .. ended the day having the best nasi kandar in KL for late supper .. yaseen in jln tar .. it was 11pm and we had the just off the stove ayam kicap .. yummy ..

24 hours nasi kandar .. what more can one ask?

• saturday - visit atok and wan at shah alam day ..

• sunday to tuesday - took off to peedee. ayah got an apartment at tiara resort for his seminar. this place is famous for its humungous swimming pool complete with kids and adults slides, jaccuzi, kids and adult pool and water volley pool. so took advantage of the free accommodation and the offerings of delicious food of n9.

6. catch up sleep and do the laundry
